Brooklynd Flowers is a Los Angeles–based fine artist, muralist, and illustrator whose work merges technical precision with expressive color. Their signature Abstract Realism blends natural subjects with bold palettes to evoke emotion and story.
A graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Brooklynd went on to study acrylic figure painting and bookmaking at the Maryland Institute College of Art. They later received a scholarship to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where they earned a BFA in Illustration. That training continues to shape their murals—each piece is carefully designed to communicate a narrative, create atmosphere, and engage viewers in both public and intimate spaces.
Brooklynd’s murals and paintings span the country, bringing life to both residential and commercial spaces. Their work has been commissioned by national brands including 7-Eleven, Modelo, and Black Rock Coffee, alongside two recent murals commissioned by Culver City.
Currently, Brooklynd is developing new public art projects, paintings, and perfume. Outside the studio, they enjoy cuddling their cat, doing jigsaw puzzles, and experimenting with handmade fragrances.
