As we move forward after two and a half years of intense cultural upheaval that emotionally and physically bonded us in new ways, I believe it’s important to remember that this kind of solidarity isn’t reliant on tragedy. The Dream Project is about creating one piece of artwork that brings to life the shared dimension of our dreams and the symbols within them.
When we dream our brain is processing our subconscious, filling those dreams with symbols. These symbols may reveal something about the dreamer, show us a bigger picture that we couldn’t consider consciously or might simply be brain barf processing our experiences from the previous day. Painting the magical space where we show true unfiltered versions of ourselves will allow me to uncover and document the many unspoken connections we all share.
